Informatics Capstone (INFO 490/491)
The Capstone allows students to demonstrate the skills they have developed in the Informatics major. Capstones are either design- (INFO 490) or research-oriented (INFO 491) .
Students are responsible for:
- Identifying the problem they will address
- Developing the approach used to address the problem
- Carrying out the investigation
- Presenting their findings
The Capstone project may be a brand new project, an extension of a project begun in an earlier course, or an extension of a faculty research project. Students may work individually or in teams of their own choosing.
