A representative from the UW Information School may be coming to your city! Student Services staff members travel throughout the year to meet outstanding candidates all over the country. We continue to post new outreach and recruiting events as they are planned so check this site regularly.

You are encouraged to meet with one of our representatives at an event near you for a discussion about curriculum and requirements, what you can do with our degrees, application procedures, and course descriptions.

Graduate Outreach

Information Sessions and Webchats 
The Information School offers information sessions and webchats for prospective students interested in the MSIM and MLIS programs. Topics include curriculum and requirements, application procedures, and what you can do with each degree.  On-campus information sessions take place in Mary Gates Hall on the University of Washington campus; live web chats are available for those who cannot make it to campus for a face-to-face information session.  Please click below for the information session/webchat schedule for the program you are interested in.
